How does the OMNIA Vatican & Rome Pass work?

What's included with the OMNIA Vatican & Rome Pass?

There are three parts to the OMNIA Vatican & Rome Pass:

  • OMNIA Card
    Use this card for free entry to several top Vatican City and Rome attractions, as well as 72-hour access to Rome's Hop-on Hop-off Bus.
     
  • Roma Pass
    This pass includes dozens of top Rome attractions. You'll get free entry to two of them, plus discounted entry to the rest!
     
  • Travelcard
    Enjoy free transport with a 72-hour travelcard.

How do I use my pass?

Depending on the attraction, you'll need to show either your OMNIA Card or your Roma Pass to enter. You can find out which attraction is on which pass on our Attractions page

Some attractions come with the added bonus of letting you reserve a time slot in advance. Information on how to do this will be included in your confirmation email.

How long do I have to use my pass?

Your pass will activate when you visit your first attraction or use your travelcard. It will then be valid for 72 hours.

After you purchase your pass online, you'll have 12 months to activate it.

Where can I collect my pass?

Once you've purchased your pass online, you can collect it from one of our collection centers in Central Rome. There are three convenient locations to choose from, right by Rome's most popular attractions. Pick up your passes and start sightseeing straight away!

Pick up your passes from the Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi collection desks at the locations below:

  • St Peter's Square, Piazza Pio XII, 9
  • Lateran Complex, Saint John’s in Lateran Basilica

Please note: if you are picking up your pass on a Sunday, you'll need to head to St Peter's Square to collect your passes.

Is there an OMNIA Vatican & Rome Pass for children?

Yes. Child passes are available for ages 6–17.

A child pass includes an OMNIA Card, however, it does not include the Roma Pass or travelcard. This is because:

  • Admission to the majority of attractions on the Roma Pass is free to anyone under the age of 18.
  • Children under 10 travel free on public transport services in the territory of Roma Capitale, when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
