  • How does the Omnia Rome and Vatican Pass work?

    The Omnia Rome and Vatican Pass is designed to help save you money and time when visiting the capital. 

    Your Omnia Rome and Vatican Pass includes:

    • An Omnia Card, which includes entry to several Vatican attractions, as well as the Rome Hop-On Hop-Off Bus. 
    • A Roma Pass which gives you free entry to your first two included Rome attractions, plus discounted entry to many more.
    • A 72-hour Travelcard to help you breeze between attractions with ease.

    The Omnia Rome and Vatican Pass is the complete sightseeing package. With your two passes, you'll have free entry to top attractions, as well as discounted entry into many other popular sites within Rome.

    Fast track your way into a handful of landmarks and attractions and skip the queues when it’s busy. Don’t worry about your travel because that’s covered too with a Travelcard with unlimited free access to the city’s transport system.

  • Is there any benefit in buying now?

    If you purchase your pass package online this allows you to plan in advance, familiarise yourself with the product, and start making an itinerary with the help of our website – you can then pick up your passes and guidebook when you arrive in Rome.

Attractions

  • Does the pass include all of Rome's attractions?

    The Omnia Rome and Vatican pass includes entry to many of Rome and Vatican City's best attractions. For the full list of what's included, visit our attractions page

  • Are the attractions accessible all year round?

    Usually, the majority of attractions are open all year round, however, there may be some partial closures around Christmas and New Year. 

    Check the opening hours and dates for each attraction in advance to help plan your trip.  

  • Can I visit the same attraction twice?

    You can visit each attraction once with the pass. Unfortunately, repeat entry is not possible. 

  • Is the Omnia Rome and Vatican pass suitable for those with disabilities and their carers?

    Some attractions may offer carer places or free entry to visitors with disabilities, so this pass might not be the most suitable for them as requirements vary from attraction to attraction. Please contact them directly for further information.

  • Do I need to pre-book attractions?

    Some attractions may require pre-booking. If this is the case, you will find all booking information listed on our reservations page and the individual attraction pages on our website.

    Please note:

    If you need to make any changes to an Omnia Card attraction reservation, you can contact [email protected] and we'll be able to assist you.

    If you need to change your reservation to any Roma Pass attractions, including the Colosseum, you will need to contact the attraction directly. 

     

  • Do the first two free attraction entries with my Roma Pass have to be consecutive?

    Yes, the first two entries have to be used consecutively. From the third admission, you must purchase a ticket at a discounted rate at the attraction’s ticket office.

  • If there is an exhibition at one of the museums I visit, is it included with my pass?

    It's up to the discretion of the museum, please enquire at reception upon arrival to see if it is included with the pass.

    Please note: additional exhibitions are only free of charge with your first two chosen attractions on your Roma Pass.

  • If I order online, how do I receive my Omnia Rome and Vatican pass?

    If you order the card online through the website, you will have the option to pick it up at one of the four redemption centers in central Rome.

  • How does a Child pass differ from an Adult pass?

    Child passes (ages 6-17) do not include the Roma Pass or Travelcard but still gives children included entry to all Omnia Card attractions.

    A Child pass does not include a Roma Pass or Travelcard because of the following:

    • Admission to most museums, monuments, galleries, and archaeological areas are free to anyone under the age of 18.
    • Children under 10 travel free on public transport services in the territory of Roma Capitale, when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
  • Do you offer discounts for groups, students or senior citizens?

    Because this pass has been designed to help visitors save both time and money, we do not offer any further discounts.

  • Can I buy this for a group?

    You can purchase up to 10 cards per adult/child card when you buy online. The card, however, is not designed for large groups of travelers and in some cases, large groups may be turned away from certain popular attractions.

    If you are traveling in a large group, contact each attraction in advance to avoid any disappointment.

  • How do I use an offer code or discount code?

    Enter and redeem your offer code on the checkout page after you have chosen your product(s).

    Note: offer codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.

  • Why didn't I get a confirmation email?

     Purchased a pass but still waiting for your confirmation email? Or has your order been declined? If so, it may be due to one of the following reasons…

    • You submitted an incomplete or incorrect billing address. 
    • Your 3D Secure authentication failed.
    • Your bank did not process the transaction as a safety precaution and requires further authorization from you. 
    • There was a typo in the email address.

  • Can I get a refund?

    You can get a refund if you cancel within 14 days of purchase. 

  • Do you have passes for any other destinations elsewhere in the world?

    Yes, we have dedicated passes for many other cities, which you can buy through our sister websites: gocity.comlondonpass.comnewyorkpass.com and parispass.com.

Transport

  • How do I use my Roma Pass as a Travelcard?

    The Roma Pass card is a single card for both public transport and entrance to museums. The card works on an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system.

    Simply place your card on the black circle of the yellow reader to get on trams, buses, and metro trains. A green light indicates that the card has been read correctly. It doesn’t have to be inserted or stamped in validating machines or installed on buses, trams, or in metro stations.

    Using your Roma Pass on public transport will activate it, even if you haven't visited your first attraction yet. 

  • Where can I travel with the Travelcard?

    This pass includes a Travelcard which is valid for three consecutive days. It includes travel on the Metro system, buses, and overground trains. 

  • Do children travel free on Rome’s public transport?

    Children under 10 years can travel Rome transport system for free.

  • Is the transport limited to certain hours of the day?

    No, you can use your Travelcard any time. 

    The Metro is open from 5:30AM until 11:30PM. On Saturdays, this extends to 12:30AM.

    Local buses and the rail network’s hours of service may vary so consult ATAC, Rome’s local transport operator before you travel.

Validity

  • How long is the Omnia Rome and Vatican Pass package valid for?

    From the date of purchase, you'll have 12 months to activate your pass.

  • When can I start using the Omnia Rome and Vatican pass?

    You can use it as soon as you have picked it up! Just turn up at the first attraction you want to visit and your cards will activate upon entry.

    It will be valid for three consecutive days.

  • Is this pass package valid for 72 hours?

    Yes, it will last for 72 hours. For example, if you activate your Roma Pass or Omnia Card on a Monday at 4PM, this will count as your first valid hour.

  • What happens if I change the date of my trip to Rome?

    When booking, select an estimated date of arrival if you haven’t confirmed your trip already, however, the card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, should your plans change.
